Generating cold

Cooling is the starting point for many processes:

  • Storage of foodstuffs;
  • rapid cooling of foodstuffs, e.g. after cooking;
  • temperature-controlled food processing;
  • maintaining work areas in optimum conditions for workers and the products being processed;
  • air dehumidification;
  • maintaining the temperature of tanks;
  • ..........

Our batteries can be integrated into freezers or rapid cooling tunnels, or into air treatment and distribution boxes.  These batteries can be powered by any type of fluid: phase-change or liquid.

We can also offer equipment that increases energy efficiency by storing ice.  In this way, users can reduce their instant refrigeration output during peak periods by producing ice during off-peak periods.

One particular application is the production of chilled water at +0.5°C, i.e. as close as possible to the freezing point.

Another example of a cooling application is maintaining the temperature of process or storage tanks: controlling the temperature during fermentation of grape juice for wine-making, removing heat from exothermic reactions, ....
